Our Eco Promise

Our commitment to our environment and our future.

How we are doing our bit...

Here at Trust and Dust we believe passionately in doing our best to help with the current environmental problems we are all facing in this world.

There’s always more we can do, but at the moment we are concentrating on the following:

  • We use eco cleaning products, wherever possible.

We appreciate that a cleaning company can sometimes come with chemicals and plastic, they are hard to avoid!

  • We recycle all of our bottles and used products as much as we can

We stock up on bulk versions of our cleaning supplies so that our cleaners can re-fill – rather than renew – their products as they go along throughout the year.

  • We are the microfibre cloth queens

We wash them all in house at our launderette. No paper needs to be thrown away when doing our all important buffing and polishing, that’s how we get it so sparkly! Feel free to donate any unwanted towels/cloths to us for cleaning rags!

Conscious efforts in the office

We are always thinking about ways we can control our carbon footprint.

  • We are supporting local business Montagne Verte

Each month we donate to the MV organisation to help them fund their research, events and awareness campaigns, head over to their website to find out more about this amazing initiative.

  • We now compost our food waste!

Working together with Montagne Verte who initiated this scheme, we collect all food scraps and organic waste at T&D HQ. This includes all past its use by date food that is found left over in properties that we’ve cleaned. Montagne Verte collect this from us weekly, at the same time as collecting the food waste from the Ibex brewery and restaurant next door.

  • Our staff uniform is now organic cotton

We give all of our team Stella/Stanley t-shirts to wear at work, as well as hoodies in the winter season, that are made from sustainable organic cotton and built to withstand working conditions. These are made to order by our local supplier at Blacksheep Sérigraphie.
